How is Schnell different from Dev?
Schnell is the ultra-fast version (4 diffusion steps) for drafts and bulk generation. Dev uses more steps and produces noticeably better detail.
Is this the same as Stable Diffusion?
FLUX was built by the same team (Black Forest Labs) but is a newer architecture. It is clearly better at hands, faces and text than classic SD/SDXL.
Does img2img (reference image) work?
Yes, via the FLUX Dev i2i variant. Upload the reference in the studio and describe how to transform it.
